Team has made it safely to Charlotte, NC for first stop of running camp. Today’s run is at McAlpine Greenway Park. Next stop will be into the mountains in Boone, NC

Team Run today was on the Old Watauga River Rd. In Sugar Grove, NC. Nice walk to Trash Can Falls after. Kids are relaxing this afternoon in Boone at Brookshire Park BooneNC.com

Great trip this AM from Boone through Mountain City, Tennessee into Virginia for team long run on Virginia Creeper Trail. Afternoon tubing in Todd, NC. Headed to Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock tomorrow!

This morning’s run was in town on the App State T&F/XC cross country course, followed by white water rafting this afternoon in Elizabethton, TN Seffner Christian

Today’s run was Flat Top Trail in Blowing Rock, NC. Beautiful horse carriage trail at Moses Cone Manor off the Blue Ridgeway. Headed home tomorrow!

Boys team competed at the Cecil Field Summer Classic last week finishing 31st in Elite Boys race. Freshman Casey Claassen was top team finisher in PR of 17:30. Reagan Chambless placed 5th in Girls race at Jim Ryun Invite to open her season

Had great out-of-state meet to SMHS Athletics AT&T meet, plus team dinner that included former Oregon, Nike, current US distance athlete Eric Jenkins, quick trip to the mountains and Brasstown Bald, and Long Run in Ellijay on Conasauga Road. Next up Seffner Christian Invite Saturday!

First race for our Little Crusaders Cross Country yesterday. Kids competed at the St. Leo Abbey Invitational. Eden Vannoy was our top Girls finisher and Landen Jones was our top Boys finisher ⁦Seffner Christian⁩

Middle School teams finally got to race again Saturday at the St. Leo Abbey Invitational. Jocelyn Hobson was our top Girls finisher and Austyn Brown was our top Boys finisher. Girls placed 7th as a team, and Boys placed 5th

Middle School Boys team won Tampa Bay Private School Championship for 3rd year in a row!

Sophomore Reagan Chambless qualified for her first xc state championship placing 6th at 1A-3 Region in her best race of the season! Boys Team qualified for State again grabbing the last spot! Not our best day but they made it! Freshman Aiden Davis cracked Top 15, placing 14th!

Team is ready to roll in Tallahassee for tomorrow’s FHSAA 1A State XC Championship!

SO Reagan Chambless capped off a memorable season at her first xc state championship, finishing 31st in a new PR of 19:52. It is the second fastest girls time in school history

Boys team had their best race of the season at the state meet. Team was ranked 22nd coming in, and finished 15th out of 32, meeting our goal of finishing in the top half of the team results
