Super stoked to finally see my graduate school paper out today in Journal of Clinical Investigation. We show that a CLN6-CLN8 complex (that we refer to as EGRESS: ER-to-Golgi relaying of enzymes of the lysosomal system), recruits lysosomal enzymes at the ER to promote their Golgi transfer.
