In my grad class this morning, we discussed ⁦@car1ygoodman⁩’s Dreamland and ⁦Sarah Coleman⁩’s The Walls Within. Our conversation touched on the rise of restrictionist sentiment in the late twentieth century, as well as the role of “randomness” and chance in history.
