Over the last two weekends SCARs members have been working with StHelens Angling Association in StHelens to clear rubbish from the lenons stretch of the canal. Around 40 bags have been taken out. Thanks to everyone for their time. It’s all good now. Here’s before and after.

I’m sure I don’t need to say this but just in case, all Sankey Canal Restoration Societies work parties are cancelled until the crisis has passed For now remember to get some sunshine whenever you can, sunshine boosts your vitamin D levels which in turn boosts your immune system
