Ten years ago, apartheid Israel jailed and deported me when I, a U.S. citizen, tried to enter to visit my Palestinian family.

The visa waiver program for Israel supports apartheid and racism.

When we say the Nakba never ended, it's about more than continuing land dispossession+violence. It's also about the trauma that continues to haunt us generations on. My grandfather never recovered from the losses and didn't live past 1950. Every Palestinian has a story like this.
