Final project from my PhD is out. Tissue damage induces a conserved stress response that initiates quiescent muscle stem cell activation. This one was a lot of fun. Great collaboration with Relaix Lab with @LeoMachadodo @PhiliMour frederic.relaix. cell.com/cell-stem-cell…

Check out our latest publication where Nefele Giarratana et al. identified "guide" cells - a subset of vessel-associated cells by #scRNAseq. Guide cells are able to improve myogenic differentiation without fusing with newly formed fibers. Impressive, isn't it?! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33669272/
