Today was a gorgeous day ☀️ for #TakeMeOutsideWeek.We👂🏼for sounds to create sound portraits, talked about what symbols we can use to represent the sounds, and then collected some 🍂🍁 to create this collaborative piece. Ss worked together to figure out where to place their 🍁.

This morning Ss joined Navjot Kaur 🌾🧡 to listen to a special reading of her book “The Garden of Peace”. We learned more about Sikh heritage and what it means to be Sikh. Thank you Sikh Heritage Month @TDSB_SHM for the opportunity. Ss are looking forward to growing their own “gardens of peace”.
