As the sun sets on another tourney day, your varsity Lions took an impressive 2nd place in a stacked 20 team field at Village Links. We’re close to greatness. We were led today by (freshman!!) Oscar with a scorching 2 under par 70 and he was the individual champion!! Unreal.

Today your Varsity Lions cooked up a 13-shot dual match victory 🏆 over Carmel. They were great hosts at a wonderful golf course (Pine Meadow). We were led by Mac (37), who had a beautiful fairway bunker shot he hit on the final hole to about 8 feet.

Today your varsity Lions headed a couple hours away to the Ottawa invitational. 🌽 We snatched a 4th place finish out of 18 teams. Team played solid. There are better things ahead! We were led by Mac with a scorching 70 (earning him a medal🏆), Joe and Matthew with 74’s.

Today your Varsity Lions took down Stevenson (5,000 student 3A juggernaut) in a head2head battle! We remain undefeated in dual matches. Their home course is Arboretum Club, and it’s a tricky one to say the least. We were led by Joe and Oscar, both with a solid even par (36).

We had two different varsity squads in action today! Overall, we played some great golf at times…but we left a few shots out there! Each tournament we get a little stronger and a lot smarter. Better things ahead. We were led by Mac (73) and Joe (76).

Your varsity lions had a solid showing today at the Conference Championship falling just short of bringing it home 🏆 Of our 6 golfers, we had 4 guys take home “all conference” medals today! We were led by Oscar (73), Zak (74), Joe (76), Mac (76). Bigger things ahead!!

Wonderful Viator Golf tradition is our annual family Mass and picnic! Weather cooperated on Sunday afternoon and we had a great mass together and some awesome eats. 🍔 Special thanks to the Massarelli family for helping make it happen!! ❤️ #blessed

Team had a tough day on a tricky (but awesome) golf course today. For the most part, Aurora Country Club got the best of us! BUT…we did have two top 5 medalists. Way to go Zak (75) and Cullen (77) 🥇 🥇 Big couple of weeks ahead. We’ll be ready.

Ton of fun yesterday at RMCC in a Ryder Cup style match play event vs. Benet. 3 of 4 matches came down to the last hole, it was tight all day! Great sportsmanship all around. Special thanks to the Battaglia family for hosting the after party, including the very LARGE 🥨🤣

Got to hang with the big DOGGs Saint Viator Boys Golf today. They performed admirably against several 3A teams at the 2025 Varsity Rams Invite, finishing 6th out of 19. Each of our #Lions posted scores in the 70s, with Zak, Matt, and Cullen shooting 77. Really ❤️ their focus! GO 🦁🏌️‍♂️!

Although it wasn’t a smooth ride, today your Lion golfers made it through Regionals and advanced to Sectionals. We live to fight another day. We were led by: 🏅Cullen (76) 🏅Mac (78) 🏅Oscar (78) Bigger (and better) things ahead!

Lost and Found, but now STATE-BOUND!! After sneaking through Regionals, our boys played GREAT today and we’re heading to the State Finals this weekend 🏆 Lezzzzzzz Go! So proud of the boys that played hard today, and thanks to their teammates that came out to support ‘em!

Amazing day preparing to send off our State-bound golfers!! From Parades at SV to fun at “The Farm” it was a blast hanging out and celebrating a great year. Tomorrow, we take the next step in our journey. GO LIONS!! 🦁 🏆🙏

Too many kids have been taught that the goal of HS sports is to achieve an athletic scholarship. Here's the truth: The goal of HS sports is to learn how to be a better person, better teammate, better communicator, & to enjoy being a teenager -something you cannot get back.

Awesome golf banquet tonight! Was a packed house with nearly 100 people in attendance. We celebrated an amazing season, and saluted our Seniors! We also collected a ton of groceries for a great cause (Morgan’s Message) . So proud of these boys and what they stand for ❤️

Today was “National Signing Day” for college sports. What a proud moment for Zak! In the fall he’s heading off to play golf for Maryville College (just outside of Knoxville, TN). Huge congrats to a great player, and an even better person. Onward!
