I had an excellent weekend with colleagues from Scottish Police Muslim Association and NAMP at the Lake District YHA England & Wales. It was a great opportunity to recharge and network. Thanks to Police Scotland's ACC Steve Johnson for your unwavering support.
14 brave cyclists,4 support staff 200+ miles of cycling over 2 days from Findhorn to Dumbarton, Scotland, all in aid of humanitarian relief efforts in Palestine raising ÂŁ40k. Our chair. Safdar Sadiq was honoured to support the team from Mearns Cycling Club and IR Scotland.
Honoured to attend the NATIONAL POLICE MEMORIAL DAY in GlasgowConcertHalls, representing the Scottish Police Muslim Association. A powerful reminder of the courage and dedication of those who serve in policing. We came together to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Grateful for the strength and unity of the policing family!
We have been busy over the weekend with a few events. Our chair Safdar Sadiq attended Tyndrum to help our friends at The Real Food Cafe with their fantastic “Pick and Chips” monthly litter pick which resulted in a great turnout of volunteersfor a worthy cause.

We were delighted to attend and support the well-being event held at London Road Police Office, Police Scotland Greater Glasgow. It was refreshing to see so many colleagues, staff networks and associations supporting the amazing work our staff and officers do everyday within Police Scotland.
Colourful Heritage invited us to the 6th Multifaith Remembrance Service in Kingussie, Scotland today to commemorate the Indian Muslim soldiers of Force K6 contingent (An all Muslim Mule Transport Corps) from present day Pakistan that are buried within Kingussie New Cemetery.

The SPMA were honoured to attend Police Scotland College represented by Vice Chair Fahad Bashir and Member Fereshteh Hosseini to deliver an input to the Norwegian Police Delegation, providing information around EDI work and the benefits of staff associations within Police Scotland.
After a busy weekend for IR Scotland volunteers at the Halal Food Festival 2024 in SEC Glasgow, SPMA were happy to lend a helpful hand, helping tidy up the IR Hub in time for the First Minister of Scotland John Swnney’s visit to the hub and IR charity shop.
