Without this service, so many individuals wouldn't be able to visit their loved one in custody. We hope this service can be rolled out across Scotland in the future, supporting families and friends to attend a physical visit

Very supportive of this call by Families Outside to address financial barriers of family travel to prison visits. We know maintaining contact with loved ones reduces impact on families and that people imprisoned are less likely to offend again if family contact is maintained.
