Loving Tooting We're setting up a group for anyone aged 65+ to 'explore' Tooting with us. We'll be remembering where all the cinemas used to be, where everyone used to shop, where were the best fish & chips and where everyone perhaps used to sneak in

I am reminded by a friend that it was 40 years ago this week that we started secondary school at Haberdashers Aske’s Hatcham Boys. Seems like several lifetimes ago. I remember I turned up with my parents a day early in error 😂 Made some friends for life in that school.

RIP Brian Barnes, an extraordianry & daring muralist from South London. Brilliant activist who used his murals to denounce the establishment. Sorry we could not get you to come teach us your many tricks and thinking. The Pandemic got in the way. Rest in Power

Thank you for sharing Lewisham Local🙏🏿 The life & work of Asquith Gibbes MBE needs to be highlighted. First learnt about his seminal work in #Lewisham when LEAN shared an artist’s call out for a public memorial, now outside Lewisham MPS. Here’s to your project DTA (Decolonising the Archive)
