Here is St Luke's Church with the North Peckham Estate in the background in 1979. The church was built between 1953-4 and replaced the original church built in 1876 destroyed in WWII. It was the first church in the Diocese of Southwark completely rebuilt after the war.

A view of the former Samuel Jones paper factory from Southampton Way from 1980. Its trade mark was the Camberwell Beauty butterfly, seen on the building. The butterfly was removed in 1982 before the factory's demolition and moved to Camberwell Baths on Wells Way where it remains.

Help needed. Here is 253 Tooley St on corner of Three Oaks Lane. The building exists and has been used by provision merchants, oilmen, cheesemongers, grocers and newsagents. Why is there a large urn or vase (?) on the outside of the building (and still there)?
