Mum and cub encounter a Chinese water deer at Carlton marshes last week. The cub is now almost at an age where it will be encouraged to go its own way by mum and put to use all it has learned from her over the last year or so @SWTSiteManager SuffolkWildlifeTrust SWTBroadsWarden

Great to see that my local Barn owls seem to have survived the recent spell of terrible weather here in the Waveney valley. This one flew past me and landed on a gate only 20m away SuffolkWildlifeTrust @SWTSiteManager SWTBroadsWarden

Our wardens have been busy clearing the aftermath of #StormBabet across our nature reserves. At Oulton Marshes, a large tree had fallen across a footpath. Here's the before and after ⬇️

A warden's work is never done! 😁 Petos is a great habitat to watch/help develop over the years and it's only getting better

Frances and Gavin from our North East team have been working with Broads Authority to cut back overhanging willow from Sluttons Dyke, between Oulton Dyke and Carlton Marshes. The aim is clear the dyke for canoeists to safely navigate through the marshes. 🎥 Gavin Durrant
