🚒 Firefighters from #CardiffCentral recently undertook bariatric training utilising the aerial ladder platform. Training is essential for ensuring firefighters are equipped to safely and effectively assist individuals with higher body mass during rescues or medical emergencies.

🐦 On-call firefighters from #Aberdare flapped into action to help a Juvenile Jackdaw bird who got itself in quite a tangle. ❤️ With use of small tools, crews carefully freed the bird before handing it to a local animal charity for care.

Saturday 14th June marked the funeral of Firefighter Jennie Logan from OxonFireRescue As a mark of respect, our teams paused at 10am to observe a minute's silence. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Jennie's family, loved ones and colleagues during this difficult time.

We are currently in attendance at a fire in the Abercarn area. Fire Crews are advising residents to keep windows and doors closed for the duration of the incident due to smoke in the area. We thank you for your calls and patience while we deal with it. ^EJ ^CM
