Tomorrow, Saturday 10 August As it will not be possible to change trains at Monument due to the station closure, for customers unable to walk between stations in the city centre, all A+B Zone tickets will be valid for travel in Zone C to allow changeover at South Gosforth.

Be extra careful when using the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure at the end of Heaton Park View. The crossing has been rendered inoperable after being destroyed by somebody driving a car in to it.

Without pay-per-mile, or similar, congestion will massively increase because driving EVs is currently much cheaper than the bus or train. Any tracking won't be much different from what already happens if you own a mobile phone, or a car with sat nav.
