SMU is experiencing a phone system outage and are actively working with Bell to restore service. External phone calls using Teams cannot be made. Alternative systems are in place at strategic locations Teams continues to work for chat, collaboration & Teams-to-Teams calls.

Bell has resolved the issue, and service to the calling feature in Teams has been restored. SMU community members can now make and receive external phone calls via Teams.
