Usha and I were honored to host Taoiseach Micheál Martin and his wife, Mary, for breakfast at the Naval Observatory, followed by a great meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office. It was a great day for celebrating our longstanding alliance with Ireland 🇺🇸🇮🇪

I had a wonderful time with Second Lady Usha Vance this morning at the Vice Presidential Residence, where we hosted Taoiseach Martin and his wife for a St. Patrick’s Day breakfast.   Ireland is a great ally and friend of the United States, and we look forward to having them back next year!

This year marks my mom’s 10th year of sobriety, and I'm grateful that we were able to celebrate in the White House with our family.   Mom, I am so proud of you.

Usha and I extend our condolences to the victims of the devastating terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India. Over the past few days, we have been overcome with the beauty of this country and its people. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they mourn this horrific attack.

Today I visited the Taj Mahal with Usha and the kids.   It's a beautiful historic site, and I'm grateful for the warm welcome we received there!
