Science is key to stronger government and more effective policies. I had an excellent discussion with PM Justin Trudeau today about the impact of government support for research. I’m proud of the momentum we’ve created and look forward to the work ahead.

New from the lab! Mitochondria from an aged mouse model of Duchenne muscular dystrophy have impaired creatine metabolism and oxidized mitochondrial CK (thiol labeling). Targeting mitochondria with the peptide SBT-20 rescued mitochondrial creatine metabolism + lowered H2O2. 1/3
