A 9-0 run to end the first half. A 23-0 run early in the second. What an opening performance from the Pirates, starting on the defensive end. Junior Cohen Richardson with a game-high 19 points, including seven of Southeast's nine on that 9-0 second-quarter run.

Bradley Dillon was AWESOME in the third quarter. Cohen Richardson was Cohen Richardson. And the Pirates, with four players scoring in double figures (Bradley Dillon, Joe Sharish, Braedyn Walden and Richardson) remain undefeated. RootstownHighSchool Southeast High School Athletics

The Portage Sports and Jack Kohl Realty Player of the Game on Saturday night was Southeast sophomore standout Bradley Dillon. Dillon had a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists, while also pulling down six rebounds and swiping two steals for impactful all-around effort.

Both the Southeast Girls Basketball teams beat Liberty at home today. The Varsity team won 53-24 & the JV team won 54-21. And there were a lot of Southeast Lady Pirate Basketball Alumni in attendance! Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate!

And that’s a sweep on the day as both the Southeast Boys Basketball teams also beat Liberty at home tonight. The Varsity team won 70-40 & the JV team won 44-33. Go Pirates!

KSU All-Star Band! Daisy Zinz, flute, Holley Reynolds, french horn, Dylan Evans, alto sax- also was selected for a solo with the group, Dr. Benjamin Lorenzo, conductor, Aubree Varga, euphonium, Isaac Antos, percussion and Madison Nutter, flute. Way to represent Pirates! 🏴‍☠️ 🎶
