Wonderful to welcome SDA Union members at Parliament House.

We discussed Labor's plan to pay superannuation on paid parental leave and their campaign to have superannuation paid on every dollar earned for workers under the age of 18.

From 2025 the Albanese Government will pay superannuation on Government Paid Parental Leave.

Today I joined SDA Union members to celebrate this announcement and what it will mean to workers and the difference it will make when they retire.

I heard from Dylan and Spencer who spoke about the positive difference that superannuation on government paid parental leave will make to their sector.
