Jesse Guscott MD crushes it every time. I don’t think he knows how good he is! (and that genuine humility is part of what makes him such a great speaker)

Dr. Sarah Newbery 💙💛 @ElaineBlau @DrKateJMiller Etienne van der Linde Dr. Brady Bouchard @OlszynskiP The SMACC Team @CAPE_Doctors CAEP USask CME @UofS_CLRC The CARE Course HSN Simulation Lab OCFP I also think sim courses and local mock codes or deliberate practice have different but related objectives. Sim debriefing is an art and a science and if you’ve ever seen someone like Rob Anderson debrief you know that’s not a thing you can pick up on the fly.

SCORE is designed with docs like Martin McNamara in mind. Smart, skilled, clinically courageous rural health care practitioners who are always looking for ways to be better.

2 things you’re pretty much guaranteed in a SCORE+ACLS course are Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice until you get it right and enough calories burned to skip your workout that day.

Thanks for tagging us @DrKateJMiller you’re speaking our language! Technical skills are important and require practice but so too do the non-technical skills. Anticipation and planning, communication, leadership, helpership will help in all crises esp those we’ve never seen #sim

We are so proud to be included amongst the simulation programs working with courageous rural and community health care teams. Like our comrades Health Sciences North / Horizon Santé-Nord HSN Simulation Lab The CARE Course we know how challenging it can be and we want to support the incredible work that you do #sim

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of SCORE Ottawa April 22. Rural health care workers and the communities they serve are too valuable to be put at added risk. We need you healthy for whatever is to come. #flatenthecurve

In a crisis, there are leaders and helpers. Rob Anderson from NOSM University | Université EMNO discusses how to be a good leader and a good helper during a crisis. Kara Tastad, Anson Dinh, and Patrick Boreskie have created an awesome accompanying #infographic! buff.ly/3aTVzAd
