We cannot speak out of both sides of our mouth about the Mercosur deal but today I told the Tanaiste Simon Harris TD that’s exactly what Fine Gael are doing . They claim they are against the present deal - yet in the last 10 days they effectively supported it in the European Parliament

Strong trade for Charolais bulls in Tullamore today. Pictured is the sale topper Drumcullen Upright which sold at €8,200 for John Fleury. Overall, 34 bulls averaged €5,466. Pick up a copy of next week's Irish Farmers Journal for a full report.

We have come to the point on the Mercosur trade deal that unless we say NO , this deal will be pushed through and Irish farmers need to know who is supporting the loss of 200 million euro of their trade in EU markets - FG cannot hide the fact they effectively supported the deal

Simon Harris previously couldn't explain why a rapist was let into Ireland as he said he wasn't aware of the case. Asked again 4 weeks later he said "I don't have that information today tbh." "That's a matter for our immigration system & those who enforce it to speak to that."

Irish Independent Just remember ye promoted a survey that asked for this. Ye forced us to reduce supply one way or another and now yer crying that the demand cannot be met to keep prices down.
