We are Closing off a one week camp for Type 1 DM patients living in the western province of Rwanda. The camp combined educational sessions on blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration and interactive activities like sports and group discussion 1/2

While being guided by Trained health care professionals and NCD counsellors, campers gained self care skills and formed long lasting friendships. Campers showcased their talents through arts, music and sports showing that having an NCD is not a disability. 2/2
