WATER LOU trialed at Pinj. this arvo. Soft early. Last mile in 1.55.2. last 1200 in 1.23.5. Out of screen for much of the 1200 to 800m section, but it would have been very quick. Her 8 to 6 split was 13.8. She then went 14.7 and 14.4, before sizzling home in 13.2. IMPRESSIVE!

NEVER ENDING last mile in 1.54.3 - 30, 28.7, 27.7 and home in 27.9. Hung down and almost broke on final turn. Drove it with the Eureka in mind and with faith in how fast he is. A fair present to give yourself on your 36th birthday. Well done Justin.

CATAINS CREEK is a half-brother to former very smart mare Wainui Creek. With the addition of DV Blinkers and chasing as opposed to leading in its most recent trial, we got to see a pacer with a bright future. Last 1000m in 70.3 and last half in 55.2 - 13.8 x 4. 2nd was sound also
