At my now local Crawley Town FC tonight. Good game that. 1-1 a fair result. Hosts Switched off for a set-piece but worthy of a point. Lolos is lively up top. Kellan Gordon once of Lincoln’s parish as wing back. Playoffs still in sight. Sense County will have enough to go up.

Was #BVB for the night along with 100,000 Dortmund fans in London. They were superb for 60 mins. Real Madrid are like one of those comedy villains you just can’t quite kill off and come back and haunt you.

In the dark at Portsmouth FC v Millwall FC

Although floodlights on - main stand/dressing rooms etc at Portsmouth FC in darkness. Only emergency lighting. Huge safety concern. And late start would have left Millwall FC fans stranded. Refs did all they could to get game on. Both sets of Fans praised by clubs for their patience.

A full decade ago me and the legend Dickie Davis produced this feature for Soccer Saturday. Still one of my all time favourites. Graphics did an amazing job with the 1960’s style vidi-printer. I never got the BAFTA my acting deserved in this. skysports.com/watch/video/sp…
