The RAWPT team have been out today at the Suffolk Schools Farm and Country Fair, Trinity Park.

It was a very busy day, it was great to meet and engage with so many enthusiastic children, parents and teachers. It was a fantastic opportunity to educate and raise awareness.

Thirteen wild birds, among them four gulls, were found dead on 2 April in woodland at Butley. None were birds of prey but all birds are protected and officers believe they were shot illegally. If you can help our inquiry contact us on 101 or via the website, ref 37/17999/24.

ROAD SAFETY - Beware of Deer on the road, they are often closer to the roads and moving a lot more at this time of year. We are seeing a significant number of Deer killed or injured on the roads and they can cause significant damage to your vehicles too. #1886

We are in regular contact with police forces across our region to ensure our members’ rural crime concerns are heard. We recently met with Suffolk Police Suffolk Rural, Wildlife and Heritage Policing to hear about their strategy for tackling crime in the countryside.
