Ten years ago, Royal Papworth Hospital NHS FT 💙 performed Europe’s first heart transplant using a non-beating donor heart – a technique called donation after circulatory death (DCD). Recently, some of the first recipients came together to mark a decade of the procedure that saved their lives. 💙
