DJ Social Circle Boys Basketball GHSA GHSA And as bookkeeper for Social Circle, I brought to the attention of the officials both times that there were scoring errors by the official scorer but she was automatically “right.”

DJ Social Circle Boys Basketball GHSA Kyle Sandy Atlanta Journal-Constitution Valdosta State University GHSA count the points Drew scored in the second quarter. They only scored 18 but were given 20. Halftime score should have been 33-26 Drew. Regulation final should have been 56-54 Social Circle.

To be fair, someone(s) from GHSA should watch the replay of this game wherever it’s available and re-score it, like, today. If there is a legit scoring discrepancy and no other variables to consider, Social Circle Boys Basketball should be awarded the win. Period.

And there’s your discrepancy. Both the stadium scoreboard and the NFHS scoreboard have it wrong. I’ll chart the last two quarters just to make sure nothing was missed. Which, by now, I’m sure what others have seen will agree with what I’ll see. GHSA

Any journalist who covers high school sports in the state of Georgia should apply MAXIMUM pressure to the GHSA over the Social Circle Boys Basketball-Drew Charter scandal. You owe it to the kids you cover. #FeetToTheFire
