🚨 Fighting Antimicrobial Resistance in East Africa: The R’OHOKET Project in Action! 🚨 🌍 The R’OHOKET Project, a two-year French Government-funded initiative, is equipping Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Tanzania with tools to prevent and combat AMR using a One Health

The R’OHOKET Project is hosting microbiologists from national veterinary laboratories for an Advanced Microbiology Training. The training will take place at the AMR Laboratory at ILRI in Nairobi, from April 7–11, 2025 and aims at strengthening regional microbiological expertise.

Uganda Youth Consortium for Antimicrobial Stewardship has trained youth from universities to champion the WASH program as a preventive measure for AMR and has embarked on a journey to empower youths to create awareness about AMR in the slum areas of Kampala

On May 14–15, partners from across the region convened in Dar es Salaam, for a Regional Workshop to share best practices and disseminate Year 1 results of the Project. 🚀 The workshop served as a valuable platform for reflection, learning, and reinforcing regional collaboration.
