Trail Ridge Road and Old Fall River Roads in #RMNP are open to pedestrians, visitors walking dogs on leash, and bicycles past vehicle closure points. All users must adhere to the posted 'Road Closed to All Traffic' signs. Violators will be cited.

Spring opening operations have started in #RMNP and Rocky's Roads crews are busy plowing the east and west sides of Trail Ridge Road. Trail Ridge Road remains closed to vehicles at Many Parks Curve on the east side and at the Colorado River Trailhead on the west side of the park.

In #RMNP today there is a good chance of showers today. Then the snow moves in for the next several days. Fri and Fri night it could snow up to 9 or 10 inches in the park. Be informed and prepared.

Following last night's winter storm, the west side of #RMNP has 15 inches of fresh snow!

In #RMNP , Bear Lake Rd above Glacier Gorge and Trail Ridge Rd/US Hwy 34 above Deer Ridge Jct have less than 1/2' of snow. Winds are aggressive. 39 degrees. Considerable avalanche danger.

Closures for the protection of Bighorn Sheep go into effect today - Aug 31. Areas near Horseshoe Park and West Alluvial Fan are closed to foot travel off established roadways or designated trails. No stopping or parking vehicles within Bighorn Crossing Zone near Horseshoe Park.
