Useful to know and it throws up a question about our squad composition going into the close season … we don’t have many wide options that combine pace and positional discipline … I suspect that’s one area where recruitment needs to go well

And even if this case only featured two players who were far enough apart that you could draw lines clearly … if it comes down to millimetres, is that really in the interests of the game? Personally, I’d opt for a “clearly offside” rule rather than “his armpit is offside”

Not only is this a good example of why the protocol for VAR isn’t fit for purpose but it reaffirms my view that the in stadium experience is much worse because of VAR

Went to the game on the spur of the moment because I was in Aberdeen with work. Turned out to be a fabulous game and a great comeback

The current Scotland National Team played some great stuff in the 4-0 loss in Amsterdam but they would be transformed if they could call on the likes of Steve Archibald … or indeed the other scorers in that game Graham Hunter

Didn’t know any of that about our … gone shooting up in my estimation for being open about a difficult diagnosis and a challenging road back to the field of play. A great ambassador for Aberdeen FC … definitely
