I was saddened by the senseless attack on 3 police officers in Bristol, CT last night. Two of them, Dustin Demonte and Alex Hamzy, lost their lives while a third officer will thankfully survive. This violence has no place our our society. Prayers for everyone in Bristol tonight.

The two NYC Marathons I’ve run were among the best days of my life, and today New York Road Runners has given me another one. I am beyond thrilled to announce that on Nov. 14th I’ll become the next CEO of one of the greatest sporting organizations in the greatest city in the world. I can’t wait!
