This is quite a big deal, as it shows that Russian propaganda and disinformation can't be tidily confined to a "free speech" debate. With Russia, it is an intelligence operation and therefore a national security matter -- and as we have seen, it enlists American accomplices.

So TIFF, Documentary Organization of Canada, Hot Docs, The Globe and Mail, CBC & others who still insist on platforming Trofimova’s piece of this Russian intelligence operation, you may wish to get ahead of this issue — for once. Being willing dupes of fascist war propagandists is not a good look.
