Thanks for highlighting our great collaboration with Bing Xu and Xuefeng Wang from Tongji University on N2 cleavage by silylene and formation of H2Si(μ-N)2SiH2. Just published in Nature Communications 😉 Read more: nature.com/articles/s4146…
Finally out, our HOT Paper in Chemistry on isolated anions and ion-pair complexes of iridium fluorides such as MIrF6 or IrF5. Great work by Yan and a wonderful collaboration with the Kaupp group TU Berlin within the CRC 1349 Fluorine-Specific Interactions. Stay tuned 😉 …mistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ch…
The next is out in Chemistry. Great work by Guohai Deng Humboldt-Stiftung. The trifluorosilylarsinidene F3SiAs has been generated and characterized for the first time. Stay tuned for the next outcome of CRC 1349 Fluorine-Specific Interactions 😉
Finally out Chemistry. A new derivative of the teflat ligand, which is bulkier and easier to prepare without using fluorsulfonic acid! The first compound prepared and characterized also by ITC was the Lewis acid B(OTeF3(C6F5)2)3. Congratulations Daniel! …mistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ch…
We have just written out a PhD position with 2/3 of E 13 TV-L salary, assigned to the design of fluorinated bismuth-based Lewis acids within CRC 1349 Fluorine-Specific Interactions . If you are interested, pls apply directly to [email protected]. Pls retweet! haushaltsabteilung.hu-berlin.de/de/haushaltund…
Congratulations to Lukas and team CRC 1349 Fluorine-Specific Interactions. Our work on fluorinated dialkyl chloronium salts has been accepted by Angewandte Chemie. It is a very powerful reagent for fluoroalkylation and hydride abstraction, as shown by the activation of pentane! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…
Which one do you prefer? Ozone stabilised on a carrier material in blue or caesium ozonide in red. Sebastian Riedel
Guohai's great work together with the Kaupp group has now been published in J. Am. Chem. Soc.. A single O atom is stabilised by a MG Lewis acid to form OBeF2, showing interesting fluorine-specific interactions. Great support Humboldt-Stiftung, CRC 1349 Fluorine-Specific Interactions see pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Thanks ChemistryViews for highlighting our recent work of the Beryllium Oxyfluorides! Great work of the CRC 1349 Fluorine-Specific Interactions is going on 😉
