Last week, our campus came alive with energy and excitement as students from JK to Grade 6 took part in ROAR! These Tigers enjoyed some friendly competition as they competed in World Cup-themed events, representing different countries through their house teams.

On Friday, we celebrated 136 years of Ridley College with our community-wide birthday party! We kicked things off with our family photo, spelling out this year’s theme: “awe.” Throughout the afternoon, students from JK–12 engaged in outdoor games, cheers and school spirit!

Last week, the IB Executive team hosted the IB Dinner for DP students and faculty. They celebrated their commitment and hard work while introducing new IB1 students to the IB2's. Everyone enjoyed an evening of amazing food, trivia and engaging with one another.

We showed off Tiger Spirit at the annual Grape & Wine Parade in downtown St. Catharines! 🍇 This is a historic tradition that celebrates community pride and marks the annual grape harvest, attracting thousands of residents and visitors to the area.

Last night, Enuwa Agada ’26 and Dal Ejeh ’26 hosted a celebration of Nigerian Independence, bringing the community together through culture, entertainment and a delicious spread of homemade jollof rice, fried rice, chicken and puff-puffs! 🇳🇬

Recently, we hosted a International University Fair in the Mitchell Learning Commons, welcoming schools from around the world. Students and parents had the chance to meet with recruitment officers and explore post-secondary opportunities!

On Friday night, we kicked off Homecoming Weekend with our annual Alumni Dinner! Ridleians of Distinction were honoured, the class of 1975 received their alumni ties and everyone shared a meal together in the Great Hall once again.

What a weekend! Nearly 600 alumni from graduating years ending in '0 and '5 returned to campus to celebrate Ridley Homecoming. With perfect weather, the weekend was full of opportunities to reconnect, reminisce and cheer on our Tigers on the field, court and ice!

Yesterday, our campus was filled with love and laughter as more than 150 guests joined us for Grandparents Day. Lower School students welcomed their loved ones with breakfast in the Great Hall, followed by an afternoon of activities and proudly showing them around campus.

We welcomed 20-year-old conservation filmmaker Luca Martinez for our first Crawford Gordon ’56 Speaker Series of the year. He took us through the Everglades with immersive soundscapes, aerial views and storytelling, he shared the awe & urgency that fuel his mission to protect it.
