Reengaging on Twitter at the encouragement of 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙝 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙚 after a three year break. It was great to be with you this week, Josh!

I was encouraged to see how God is doing a work through Faly Ravoahangy and Madagascar 3M to bring the power of the gospel to bear on the island nation of Madagascar. Many friends and memories were made during a full week spent proclaiming the glory of a sufficient Scripture!

If you believe in the sufficiency of Scripture (2 Pet 1:3), then you must believe in Paul’s application of that doctrine: “Preach the Word”(2 Tim. 4:2). That’s the primary command that governs the preacher’s task today!

In John 8, the people call Jesus despicable, delusional, and deranged. But instead of calling down the fire they deserved, Jesus declares to them that He is Yahweh: a name full of grace and mercy, patience and justice. In place of death, He offers life. That’s the glory of God

If repentance is me agreeing with God about who I am and turning to Him, then #Thanksgiving is fundamentally about me acknowledging who God is and responding to what He’s done. Today is a great day for both responses. Happy Thanksgiving!

Some thoughts on HOW to pray for Israel:

We CAN'T know how the events in Israel connect to the end times. We CAN know that these events point to the fact that the end will come and Jesus will reign! THIS is what Jesus meant when he spoke of "wars and rumors of war" pointing to the end, but not being the end. Mt 24:6
