This is a Paulownia tree, growing over 3 days, it is a hardwood timber and can offer both resilience financially and carbon removal it sequesters a huge average of 63kg of CO2, per tree, per year, this usable strong, lightweight timber, known as the aluminium of the timber world!

After the Paulownia tree is planted and maintained for approximately 10 years, it is harvested which is fairly straight forward because it has a straight trunk, it is stacked as in the picture below for 6 to 8 weeks where it air dries ready for use and the stump starts to grow
