More than 700 different species of wild plants have been found on UK road verges. If councils reduce cutting where safe to do so, verges can be a fantastic habitat - boosting biodiversity, saving costs, and bringing more nature back into our lives. More: bit.ly/40VK5pl

There are so many green spaces in our towns and villages that are over-mown or sprayed, but which could instead be boosting biodiversity and bringing nature back into our lives like this corner of Cambridge. RT if you agree 🐝

We found this photo on Google recently, this shows exactly what we started with for our rewilding project. The front field, in particular, was literally a blank canvas.

How many people out there are giving wildflowers a chance by leaving areas of their gardens uncut this year? Please RT if you are offering a lifeline to pollinators like bees, butterflies, moths, hoverflies and bats by mowing less 🐝

Plant a wildlife hedge instead of building a fence! It could help hedgehogs, bumblebees, blue tits, small mammals, insects, robins, frogs, bats, toads, dunnocks, butterflies, moths, blackbirds, solitary bees, wrens, hoverflies...
