For years, Iran has attempted to hide behind proxy terror groups like Hezbollah and Hamas.

But its direct attack on Israel over the weekend was unprecedented.

Today, I told Sumi Somaskanda on BBC News (World) that this was a malicious act, and Israel has the right to defend itself.

Iran has been on offense since they took Americans hostages in 1979 and they have not let up. Their long awaited unwarranted attack on Israel merits a swift response and any appeasement by our current administration is not appropriate in any way.
