Today Emma Prach and I have written to @LornaSlater, the Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy & Biodiversity about Zero Waste Scotland’s review of disposable vapes. Vape use amongst young people is rising so whatever conclusions are reached must work for young people too.

“Time is running out for our youth work sector, we need a collaborative approach to deal with these challenges head on.” The youth work sector in Scotland is suffering, so I have called on Scottish Government to recognise youth work's value by implementing co-designed funding structures.

We know youth work is a route out of poverty and a support mechanism for our most vulnerable young people, but youth work is also an essential part of a rights-based education system that develops children and young people's talents, personalities and potential to the full.

Did you know that Marischal College used to be a university, and that the same Keith-Marischal family also built Dunnottar Castle? #SYPMonopoly #AYMAberdeen
