The Senate voted last night to confirm Alison Nathan to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, making her the second-ever openly lesbian judge to serve on an appellate court. Congratulations, Judge Nathan!

Every child in our country should have the chance to go to school, play sports, and pursue their hobbies fearlessly. In the face of unprecedented legislation targeting LGBTQ+ people—especially trans kids—I will not stop working to #ProtectTransKids from these baseless attacks.

To all the trans kids out there: we won’t stop fighting until you’re able to freely be the person you are and were always meant to be. #ProtectTransKids

Lawmakers should be working to #ProtectTransKids - not working to ban their existence.   It is really disgusting to see so many adults actively pursuing this hateful agenda. To all the kids out there -- trans, genderqueer, still figuring it out -- please know, you're not alone.
