Egypt needs ongoing support to continue to host people fleeing war + persecution. Ylva Johansson you will witness this firsthand when visiting UNHCR Egypt's registration centre where Sudanese refugees like Hanina sought asylum. She is among 760K refugees registered in 🇪🇬.
As Ylva Johansson & Josep Borrell Fontelles visit Egypt, we urge the EU to allocate resources necessary to help 500.000 Sudanese refugees registered with UNHCR Egypt Keeping Egypt border opened to all fleeing the brutal conflict in Sudan is a must. Counting on EU advocacy & support.
