Great end to #APCRS2023 with two talks on community-driven reef management in Indonesia (multilingual) and one from Ashton Gainsford (fellow HBer Homeward Bound) on using ReefCloud to facilitate monitoring and collaboration between Indigenous and western science 🪸

Warmest congratulations to seawomenofmelanesia's Naomi Longa on her well-deserved Whitley Fund for Nature! We're feeling a bit starstruck that her team have been using #ReefCloud to collaborate and share their Kimbe Bay #coralreef #monitoring data!

Tunnung Island school students in #PNG have been conducting their own coral reef monitoring surveys under the guidance of local champion Clem Anton (supported by Coral Sea Foundation & seawomenofmelanesia): stoked to see the next generation empowered with the latest tools to collect data!
