The deep blue of this morning and, from last night's wondrous cosmic display, hidden quietly amidst all the flashing neon colours, a few moments of heavenly blue! 💙 💙

We were in awe of the cosmos last night, millions of us sharing similar feelings of wonder & astonishment.

But can we come together to share the same levels of wonderment for our planet & for all the amazing organisms that live beside us within the narrow envelope of life?

Yes, thousands and thousands of us, if not millions. United for once and literally gobsmacked by how magical our small world is 😊

Just after taking this picture I watched a sea eagle harried by two calling cuckoos who in turn were chased by a gang of small birds, meadow pipits, goldfinches & others.

My only response to this is to weep, for the babies, toddlers & older children, their parents & grandparents. But I also weep for my family, my children & grandchildren, who are safe, secure. Would I be able to endure such loss? I'm not certain I could.
