We support NSW Govt decision to suspend feral horse rehoming from Kosciuszko NP & review welfare of the practice.
Rehoming means capturing, confining & transporting large wild animals, often already in poor health, causing stress & often injuries.

The NPA of NSW hosted a beautiful 80th party with around 100 people in Thredbo, including lots of former NPWS staff and the Polish Ambassador H.E. Maciej Chmieliński.

This completely bogus story clearly came from one of the pro-brumby groups which Wells has been courting, per Media Watch. No one got the number of horses wrong. That's the lie brumby advocates tell again and again

Yesterday Media Watch covered my complaint re ABC journo Jamelle Wells who shamefully aired an error filled, context free feral horse story but failed to reveal her serious personal bias or work advising brumby campaigners on media strategy!

Good news from folk who walked the Cascade Trail which just re-opened after March feral animal control: no signs of feral horses, deer or pigs where in previous years they regularly saw piles of horse manure.
Trail-side grasses long & healthy.
Anecdotal, but an encouraging sign.
