Good news from folk who walked the Cascade Trail which just re-opened after March feral animal control: no signs of feral horses, deer or pigs where in previous years they regularly saw piles of horse manure.
Trail-side grasses long & healthy.
Anecdotal, but an encouraging sign.

I just did a chopper flight over northern Kosciusko NP with the NSW Upper House Inquiry into Feral Horses. In just a short time I saw hundreds of horses and so much destruction! It’s an international shame! Kosci is one of our precious National Parks not a horse paddock #nswpol

So Invasive Species Council through its campaign Reclaim Kosci shared aerial pics showing damage by brumbies (feral horses) to Kosciuszko National Park.
