Hey non profit friends: you don't need to even think about AI. The foundations and funders are so far behind- with the absolute lowest expectations for efficiencies and strong operating systems- you're good for at least 5-7 years- and I'm under estimating. (schools excluded)

Don't tell me what you believe about leadership. Show me how you treat people inside and outside of your company. Show me what behaviors you tolerate, recognize and reward on your team and I'll tell you what you believe.

This week, two nonprofit organizations announced they were either closing or laying off most of their team. I only know what's been shared publicly. And I have thoughts. dinas-newsletter-3f0ed4.beehiiv.com/p/the-nonprofi…

The last time I coded was in 8th grade using BASIC. Yesterday, I launched v2 of the Reality Check- a fully automated, five question diagnostic. I feel like a Marvel superhero. For anyone who never imagined change was possible, YOU'RE the superpower💪🏻 dinas-newsletter-3f0ed4.beehiiv.com/p/i-haven-t-co…

Leaders eat last. Simon Sinek made that stick. But the harder part is leaders also have to go first. First to admit they don't know. First to own mistakes. First to regulate. Want more accountability? Go first. Want more innovation? Go first. Better leaders. Better teams.

Nonprofits are always resource scarce. It's one of the biggest challenges they've historically faced. Frequently over -working employees. That should end as fast as CEOs and their boards figure out how to use AI and automations across their work.

Too many leaders grab the scuba gear and dive straight to the bottom when the fix is closer to the surface. Molly Graham's Waterline Model explains why and I wrote about in this week's Dose of Reality.dinas-newsletter-3f0ed4.beehiiv.com/p/the-most-exp…

John Kotter wrote @ leading change 30 years ago & his eight step framework remains true today. It's endured because while our tools and technology have radically changed, we haven't. Humans are remarkably consistent. And we're seeing it all play out.dinas-newsletter-3f0ed4.beehiiv.com/p/ready-or-not
