Big news: We closed our first deal ReSeed Partners: A boutique apt building in an incredible neighborhood in San Diego, which I would personally be comfortable owning ~forever. No celebrating yet; we’ll do that if/when we finish the rehab on budget & hit the pro forma rents.

When rhett first approached me about doing “y combinator for real estate GPs”[not affiliated w YC!], I loved the idea. Turns out to be *very* complicated to execute… and almost all the credit goes to him and the rest of the team he recruited, plus the operators we found.

rhett Oh, also: Thank you, the ReTwit Community, so much for your help in publicizing the business. The reach you gave that initial tweet resulted in like 700 operator applications & 1,000 interested investors for our list. That made all of this possible.
