The Thunder are hunting CJ McCollum & Jose Alvarado every chance they get.

Takeaways from the Game 1 loss vs OKC:

1) Defense & intent on the boards gave the Pels a chance on an awful team shooting night.

2) Not having Hawk/Matt Ryan in the rotation for months may come back to hurt.

3) Offense was too iso-dependent. Ugly execution down the stretch.

That cannot be the shot.

Really impressive showing from the Pelicans.

Trey Murphy has to be in their starting five full-time next season.

Wish Hawk and Matt Ryan had more reps innthe regular season because with the way OKC is defending, I think either one could have given you a good 3-4 minute spurt there.

1) BI looked more like himself. Was in control of the game.

2) Pels bench was the biggest difference maker. Brought energy & filled up the box score.

3) Everything felt difficult for SAC & the Pels played with more force.

1) Zion was aggressive from tipoff & was incredible in his postseason debut. Now we wait..

2) Shooters cant afford to go cold while BI is out of rhythm.

3) The defensive activity & gang effort on the boards was much better.

The intensity is already better from the Pelicans.

1) LAL were the aggressors & got to want they wanted w/ little resistance.

2) Pels were careless w/ the ball & tried to do too much vs making the simple play.

3) LAL are perfectly built to exploit the Pels lack of an athletic Center

For as bad as the Pelicans played in their 1-5 homestand, they were equally as good in their 4-0 road trip.
