Freshman Phenoms: Many states are just getting started, but others have already had enough time for the freshman phenoms to rise to the top. Following are the highest scoring freshmen in the country through the early going of the 2023-24 high school season:

Check out this incredible roster at Martin HS in Arlington, Texas. Keep in mind that there are only two classes in one of the biggest states in the country when you look at the rankings. Not very many teams in the nation could compete with this lineup!

Watch out for Odessa Wrestling in Missouri! They have surged to the top of the class 2 team rankings on the back of four freshmen already ranked in the top 5 of the state. Those rankings should continue to improve as they get more opportunities to wrestle tough opponents.
